Pacific Asset Management is led by Rex Olson and is comprised of a collection of highly accomplished and experienced investment professionals. The investment management team is led by Jason Rosiak, Head of Portfolio Management, and J.P. Leasure, Head of Research.

Rex Olson, CFA
Mr. Olson is a Senior Managing Director for Pacific Asset Management. He oversees Pacific Asset Management’s Fixed Income business and is a member of its Investment Committee. Mr. Olson joined Pacific Life in 2000. As Pacific Life’s former head of credit research, Mr. Olson was responsible for overseeing approximately $17 billion in investment grade bonds, private placements, high-yield bonds and leveraged loans. Prior to that, Mr. Olson held portfolio management and analyst positions at GE Capital and Transamerica. Mr. Olson has over 20 years of investment and banking experience and holds a Bachelor of Science degree and an MBA from the University of Southern California. He is a CFA charterholder.

Jason Rosiak
Mr. Rosiak is a Senior Managing Director for Pacific Asset Management. He has responsibility for overseeing Pacific Asset Management’s portfolio management activities, including investment grade and high-yield bonds, leveraged loans, and structured products. Mr. Rosiak is a member of Pacific Asset Management’s Investment Committee. Previously, Mr. Rosiak held senior positions at UBS Investment Bank and Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO). While at PIMCO, Mr. Rosiak served as their Leveraged Loan Portfolio Manager and Head of High-Yield Trading. He has been involved in the structuring, marketing, and management of 21 CDOs and several closed-end products. Mr. Rosiak is an investment professional with over 15 years experience in corporate and asset backed securities on both the buy and sell-side. Mr. Rosiak holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA from the University of Southern California.

J. P. Leasure
Mr. Leasure is a Senior Managing Director for Pacific Asset Management. He serves as Pacific Asset Management’s Head of Research, overseeing all credit research efforts. Mr. Leasure is a member of Pacific Asset Management’s Investment Committee. Mr. Leasure joined Pacific Life in 1997. As a former senior member of Pacific Life’s credit research team, he was responsible for overseeing approximately $10 billion of Pacific Life’s portfolio of investment grade corporate public bonds and portfolio of leveraged loans. Mr. Leasure is a former member of Pacific Life’s Workout Committee. Prior to joining Pacific Life, Mr. Leasure was a Senior Associate in Credit Lyonnais’ Leveraged Finance Group. Mr. Leasure has over 11 years of investment and banking experience and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA from Columbia University.

Michael Long
Mr. Long is a Managing Director for Pacific Asset Management. He serves as the Co-Portfolio Manager for the High Yield Bond Strategy. Mr. Long joined Pacific Life in 1994 as an Investment Analyst. He was promoted to Portfolio Manager in 1998. Mr. Long has over 24 years of experience in the financial and securities industry, including past investment analyst positions at Franklin Resources, Inc., Bradford and Marzec, Inc., and Great Northern Annuity. Mr. Long holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis and an MBA from Pepperdine University.

Donna Riley Bebb
Ms. Bebb is a Director for Pacific Asset Management. She is responsible for analyzing potential investment opportunities in the Energy, Autos, and Transportation sectors. Previously, Ms. Bebb was a Senior Vice President at Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO), where she was responsible for investment grade bonds, high-yield bonds, leveraged loans, and convertible securities covering more than 130 companies and $8 billion in energy, paper and packaging holdings. Ms. Bebb has over 7 years of investment experience and has also worked at Morgan Stanley and Ford Motor Company. Ms. Bebb holds a bachelor’s degree in risk management from Temple University, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

David Weismiller, CFA
Mr. Weismiller is a Managing Director for Pacific Asset Management. As a former member of Pacific Life’s credit research team, he was responsible for fixed income and leveraged loan credit analysis. Mr. Weismiller’s primary responsibilities are in the following sectors: Gaming, Utilities, Healthcare and Chemicals. Mr. Weismiller joined Pacific Life in June 2002, and was previously with Comerica Bank, where he was a Commercial Banking Officer responsible for investing in a portfolio of leveraged loans. He has over 10 years of investment and banking experience and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine.

Michael Marzouk
Mr. Marzouk is a Director for Pacific Asset Management and has over 11 years of professional investment experience. His primary responsibility is in the Telecommunications, Media and Technology sectors. Prior to working at Pacific Asset Management, Mr. Marzouk worked in the investment banking field most recently as Vice President in the Leveraged Finance Group at The Royal Bank of Scotland. At The Royal Bank of Scotland, Mr. Marzouk was primarily responsible for originating, structuring, underwriting, negotiating and syndicating bank debt, mezzanine debt and high yield bonds. Prior to The Royal Bank of Scotland, he worked at UBS Investment Bank, Prudential Financial and Deutsche Bank. During his tenure in investment banking, Mr. Marzouk’s experience included leveraged recapitalizations, leveraged buy-outs, mergers and acquisitions advisory work and evaluations of equity co-investments. Mr. Marzouk received his B.A. summa cum laude in Business-Economics from UCLA and his M.B.A. from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. Mr. Marzouk is also a CFA Level II candidate.

Brian Robertson, CFA
Mr. Robertson is an Associate Director for Pacific Asset Management and has over 5 years of investment experience. As a Portfolio Manager, he has the responsibility of co-managing the Money Market Portfolio of Pacific Select Fund and the PL Money Market Fund of Pacific Life Funds and providing research and analysis of investments in the Forest Products, Metals & Mining, Industrials, and Homebuilding sectors. Prior to joining Pacific Asset Management, Mr. Robertson was a former member of Pacific Life Insurance Company’s credit research team, with responsibility for fixed income analysis and leveraged loan credit analysis. Mr. Robertson joined Pacific Life in 2000 and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. He is also a CFA Charterholder.

Alap Shah
Mr. Shah is an Associate for Pacific Asset Management. He is responsible for analyzing investment opportunities in the Aerospace & Defense, Services, Industrial, and Diversified Manufacturing sectors. Most recently, Mr. Shah was a Summer Associate in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Group at UBS Investment Bank. Previously, he served as a Manager at KPMG in the Financial Advisory Services group. He has also worked at Huron Consulting and Arthur Andersen. Mr. Shah holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management from the University of California, Irvine and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Michael Lonia
Mr. Lonia is a Portfolio Analyst and Trader for Pacific Asset Management. In addition to trading high yield bonds and money market securities, Mr. Lonia also provides portfolio analytics and attribution reporting for the group. Mr. Lonia generates risk reports and acts as a liaison with the operations group to monitor cash positions. Prior to joining Pacific Asset Management, Mr. Lonia was a member of Pacific Life’s Operations Compliance team and was responsible for CDO and High Yield reporting, performing compliance tests and reconciliation between the portfolio managers and trustees. In addition, he was responsible for High Yield trade reconciliation, processing various derivative products as well as corporate actions. Prior to joining Pacific Life in 2005, Mr. Lonia performed portfolio modeling at American Express by analyzing investments while taking into consideration correlation data, risk-reward scenarios as well as suitability information. Mr. Lonia holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and operations management from the University of Delaware. Mr. Lonia is also a CFA Level II candidate.

Dominic Nolan, CFA
Mr. Nolan is a Director for Pacific Asset Management. He acts as the primary contact with the firm’s clients and is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with various channels. Mr. Nolan comes to us from Lombardia Capital Partners, where he was Director of Client Service and institutional business development. Prior to Lombardia Capital, he was Vice President and Product Manager for LM Capital Group, an institutional global fixed income manager. Prior to LM Capital, Mr. Nolan worked at Fidelity Investments. Mr. Nolan has over 9 years of industry experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business finance from California State University Fullerton and an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles.
